I'm still attempting to figure out how to upload photos, however here's an overview of our time in England so far:
Arrived around 1:30p local time on the 27th.
Were greeted by a light rain while waiting for a taxi large enough to carry all of us.
Naptime for all when we made it to the hotel.
Dinner at hotel restaurant--yum!
Took a taxi to visit with cousins of Teren--lovely time. Will meet them again Thursday evening.
Home again around 11p. A bit of telly, then crashed.
Up around 8:30--kids not happy about getting up, however we needed to be down for breakfast before 9:30. Another yummy meal.
Gathered all of our things--I'm ready to chuck it all except the clothes on my back and small backpack!
Jumped on a double-decker bus for tube station.
Grabbed the Tube, and headed into London--crossed the Thames and saw views of the usual tourist stops.
Checked into our hotel, and headed out to British Museum via another double-decker.
Viewed the Egyptian and Greek exhibits before Matthew was too hungry and tired. Next time we'll see the rest!
Bit of a hike to catch our bus back to area of hotel. Bad time to lunch--2:45, so had snacks in room and rest.
